Vera passed away July 13th, 2022, of natural causes at Roseleaf Oroville Senior Care. She was 86 years old. Vera was born December 26,1935 in West Central Iowa. Vera married Myron Kempton in October 1956 and had 4 children. She was primary pianist for several churches throughout her life. Survivors are a sister Elaine Grimm of Manilla, IA, a brother Lyle (Ellen) Ahrenholtz of Omaha, NE, a sister-in-law Bev Ahrenholtz of Manning, IA, 2 sons-Michael(Jennifer) Kempton of Birmingham, AL, Mark(Tamara) Kempton of Tampa, FL a daughter Melody Kempton of Winter Haven, FL, a daughter-in-law Jeanette Kempton of Hillsboro, OR, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Hazel Ahrenholtz & Marcille Swires, brother Kenneth Ahrenholtz, husband Myron Kempton and son Marvin Kempton.
