Sue Ellen Abraham
November 6th, 1956 - May 28th, 2016
Sue Ellen Abraham was born on November 6, 1956, in Lansing, Michigan. She died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 28, 2016 at the age of 59. She graduated from Waverly High School and attended Lansing’s Barber College before moving to California. Sue lived in San Diego for over 35 years and was very proud of her barber salon business. Her clients as well as her many friends had the privilege of sharing her life and were like her second family. Sue also had many different side-jobs as a waitress, selling cosmetics and worked at various women’s clothing stores where she used her many talents to dress and accessorize women so that they looked fabulous just like Sue! She was very proud of her Lebanese heritage and had a heart of gold, always willing to help people with life’s many struggles. She always had a smile on her beautiful face and had an eternally positive outlook on life even though she struggled herself with many health issues. Sue was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Abraham in 2011. Surviving are her father, Miller Abraham, brother Mark (Lisa), sister Cheryl Farhat (Jim), nephews Michael Farhat (Kellie) and Jeffrey Farhat. Also surviving is Christopher Cullinan, her boyfriend, who resides in San Diego. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 17th at 12:00 noon, Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 4080 Hawk Street, San Diego, CA 92103. The family is being served by the Legacy Funeral and Cremation Care in La Mesa. Memories and on-line condolences may be shared with the family at: www.legacyfuneralcare.com.
