Dominic (Don) Albert Del Carlo       Don Del Carlo, age 79, of Chico, CA, passed away on October 27th, 2023. He was born October 20, 1944 in Antioch, CA to Albert and Marie (Viscuso) Del Carlo. He spent his youth in South San Francisco later moving to Chico, CA. His passing came too soon and very unexpectedly after a short bout with cancer.       Don was a successful entrepreneur and very passionate about his work. In the early days he had many business endeavors which included but not limited to working with RC Cola, Coors beer, Safeway and Chico Produce. He then went on to own Helen’s Donut Nook, Anderson Radiator Shop, The Creamery and Del Carlo’s Pasta House in Cabo San Lucas and, Mexico. He was very talented and enjoyed spending many hours on his tractors, building their dream home.       He served four years in the National Guard stationed at Fort Ord, CA. Don had a passion for all things outdoors including deer hunting, deep sea fishing and scuba diving. He enjoyed flying his Cessna airplane, showing his Cobra sports car that he built, traveling (Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, Canada) and taking trips with Dena in their RV to meet up with cousins in various states. He was famous for his crab cioppino feeds he often prepared for his family. Don loved his family very much. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and memorable stories of his life growing up. He cherished deeply his childhood friends he grew up with in South San Francisco.       He is survived by his devoted wife Dena of 15 years, his brother Dan Del Carlo (wife Dana), daughters Nicole Tyng of Portland, Ore., Annabelle Miller (husband Dan) of Livermore, CA, three grandchildren, Maximilian Litteral, Madisen Litteral, and Zachary Miller. He had three step-children Robert Russ, Lori Miller, Erika Thomson (husband Rich) and their three children. He was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother Joseph Del Carlo.       A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 19 from 1pm till 3pm at Butte Creek Country Club, 175 Estates Dr, Chico, CA.
