Leah Ann Blum
August 22nd, 1980 - March 1st, 2024
Leah Ann Blum 43, passed on March 1, 2024. Leah is survived by her three sons Damon, Zayden, and Jayvon also a stepson. Her sister Carrie. Her Mother and Father. Leah also had a brother Tony Sousa that unfortunately passed away on August 6, 2023. Leah as a little girl she always looked out for her big sister, she was always interested in what was ever going on. Leah was very energetic and athletic, she got interested in gymnastics then applied those skills to team cheerleading for the Chico Panthers Football program. Which her fun-loving attitude towards life, Leah and her close friendships and teammates achieved many awards at team cheerleading competitions. She continued her cheerleading into her freshman – Sophomore years in High School. Leah loved the friendships and achievements that were gained in those years. Leah and her sister were baptized in 1994 at St. John’s Catholic Church, along with their mother’s confirmation. Leah was an excellent student, from the start of pre school to her graduation from 8th grade and continued through her high school. She held a 4.0 grade average every year and was on many principals’ lists. Leah graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in the class of 1998. Leah continued her education at Butte College, where Leah achieved three associate degrees and was placed on the Dean’s List at Chico State University. Leah’s achievements in life were many. Leah became a Financial Consultant with her ability to be a notary. Leah loved this type of career and made many cherished friendships. Leah was a beautiful, vibrant, charismatic, and gentle soul. Leah’s beautiful smile and quick – wittedness always made the people around her feel special. She touched so many lives. Leah’s smile and loving warmth will be missed as we move forward without her, we will continue to keep her spirit alive until we meet again in Heaven.
