Kim Harald Strickler
September 10th, 1948 - July 11th, 2022
Kim Harald Strickler passed away Monday, July 11, 2022 in Sutter Creek, CA at the age of 73 years old. He was born in CA on September 10, 1948, a son of the late Lois (Carr) and Harald Ray Strickler. Kim joined the United States Army in 1966. He served two tours of duty, both flying and working on Huey and Cobra helicopters with the 123rd Aviation Battalion, Americal Division. He left the army with several military decorations; National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal of Valor, Distinguished Flying Cross, Distinguished Conduct Medal, and Vietnam Service to name a few. Kim is survived by his wife Carolyn Strickler of Sutter Creek, CA; two daughters, Allison (Cody) Peterson Strickler of Lockeford, CA; Courtney (Matthew) Ballou Strickler of Lynnwood, WA; a son, Tony Zurek of Folsom, CA; as well as a sister, Diane (Steve) Sprenger of Shedd, OR. He is also survived by grandchildren, Boone Peterson, and Cody Peterson. He is preceded in death by daughter, Zofia Dombrowski. At the family's request there will be no services.
