Patrick Michael Lough passed way Tuesday, May 3, 2022, in Sutter Creek, CA at the age of 72. His faithful companions Blondie and Mr. Fritz were at his side. He was born in Oakland, Ca on April 13, 1950, the son of the late Marguerite "Margie" Baker Lough and George Arthur Lough. Patrick is survived by his loving wife, Gina Grossi Lough of Clayton, CA; devoted son, Patrick M. Lough and his girlfriend Tina Delgado of Dublin, CA; brother, George Lough Jr of Hayward, CA; cousin, Michele Hofmann of Sonora, CA and former wife, Linda Davis of San Ramon, CA. He was preceded in death by Aunt Thelma Baker Ingram. After graduating from Oakland Technical High School, Patrick entered the U.S. Army and was a decorated Vietnam veteran, serving as a crew chief and door gunner. After being discharged he returned to the Bay Area and worked for Del Monte as a Warehouseman in the food distribution industry for 30 years. After his retirement he moved to Amador County where he worked installing cell towers and solar panels. He enjoyed going to the Reno Air Races and was always available for a friendly game of horseshoes with his good buddies. Patrick was an A's fan and loved his Raiders. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 108 Sutter Creek, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Jackson Elks Lodge 2426, and the Teamsters Union. A Celebration of Life is set for June 11th at 1:00 p.m. at the Jackson Elks Lodge, 12500 Kennedy Flat Road, Jackson, CA 95642. Donations may be made in his name to American Legion Post 108 at P.O. Box 480 Sutter Creek, CA 95685, or Hospice of Amador Calaveras at 1500 S. Hwy 49, Jackson, CA 95642.
