Gary Lee Sutfin
July 24th, 1935 - January 12th, 2022
Gary Lee Sutfin passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in Jackson, CA at the age of 86 years old. He was born in Oakland, Ca on July 24, 1935, a son of the late Alice (Dam) and Joseph Sutfin. Gary is survived by his wife Donna Sutfin of Jackson, CA; children, Deanna, Delores, David, Todd, and Mark; brother, Stan; He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews. Gary was an involved boy scout in high school, his family did a lot of camping around the parks in California. One of his favorite things was to hunt and fish with his dad, uncles, and cousins. He was an involved member of his church, teaching along with his wife Donna, many premarital education classes, and lay counselling sessions, as well as participating in the men's group. Gary has many accomplishments including writing his own book "Joy During the Journey". He loved woodworking, he created several pieces of furniture through the years and chocolate chip cookies. A celebration of life will be held at the Sutter Creek Church of the Nazarene, Sutter Creek, CA on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.
