Kiyoko Takara Johnson
March 31st, 1938 - February 13th, 2021
Kiyoko was born in Masato, Okinawa on March 31st 1938 to Senso and Kana Takara. Throughout her early 20's she earned her living as a waitress and in doing so met her husband George who was stationed there during his time in the service. George and Kiyoko were married in Naha, Okinawa and would remain together for 55 years until George's passing in 2018. Kiyoko Takara Johnson passed away in the early morning of Febrary 13th at her Chula Vista home. She is surived by her brother and two sisters, her two daughters and four grandchildren. Her final resting place will be alongside George at Miramar National Cemetary Columbarium Plaza South Section O, Row 2 Site 2 Site 12 in San Diego, California. Services are not scheduled at this time, please call the family at 619-482-2055 for updates.
