Joyce Marie Hougham

Joyce Marie Hougham passed away on October 1, 2020, in Orangevale, Ca. at the age of 86 years. She was born on July 22, 1934 in Huntington Park, California to the late Paul and Alice (Brownlee) Cunningham. Her life experiences were many, including multiple flights in a Cessna 172 with her husband piloting and her work in the restaurant industry for many years. She enjoyed the outdoors tremendously and was a beautiful oil painter. Joyce sought to see God’s purpose in the highs and lows of life. She found joy in helping others find happiness and delighted in saying words that would brighten the days of others. Joyce blessed her family with love as they grew and had families of their own. She is survived by her daughter, Helen (Hougham) Knight; her son, Harold Hougham; sister, Shirley Dilley; grandchildren, David, Jonathan, Hannah, Joshua, Ryan, Katelyn, Scott and Ross and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Arthur Hougham. She will be sadly missed by all who had the joy of knowing her. A graveside service will take place at a later date.
