Christopher Carpenter

On July 20, 2019, at the age of 55, Chris Carpenter, was called to heaven. He is survived by his parents, Ron and Jackie Carpenter, his sisters, Terry, Crystal and Christine, his brothers-in-law, Dan and John, and his seven nieces and nephews, who dearly loved their uncle Chris, as well as extended family and friends. Chris was born in Southern California and raised in San Jose. He worked in construction and was a talented finish carpenter. Chris moved to Amador County in 2008. Chris’ greatest joys were being outdoors, fishing, and enjoying the beautiful trees and hills of Pioneer, where he will be laid to rest. He also enjoyed cooking, reading and spirited conversation. Chris found pleasure in the simplicities of life – his faith, family, friends, fishing and food. Chris will always be remembered for his sensitive, loving heart and his generous spirit. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace sweet Chris, you will forever be in our hearts. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14: 1-3
