Rebecca Irene Powers, age 78, of Pioneer, CA, passed away Friday, July 19, 2019 in Jackson. Rebecca was born in Torrence, CA on September 29, 1940, a daughter of the late Verda Irene (Ashley) and Everett Wilson Harper. Rebecca is survived by her husband of almost 59 years John Powers of Pioneer; sons, Ken Powers, of Pine Grove, Kelley Powers, of Colfax, CA; six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to attend celebration of life at Sierra Baptist Church, Pioneer, CA, at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 17, 2019. Memorial contributions may be made to Sierra Baptist Church, P.O. Box 719, Pioneer, CA 95666.
