Janiece Whitcomb

Janiece passed away peacefully in her home on March 19, 2019. We all loved her very much and will miss her every day of our lives. Janiece was born in Brooklyn, New York, daughter of Gladys Amy Whitcomb and Raymond Elliot Whitcomb and sister to Russell Towndrow Whitcomb. She was a graduate of Biola University and beloved elementary school teacher to thousands of students for 30 years. Janiece is survived by her sister-in-law Karen Whitcomb and beloved auntie to Mike and Lori Whitcomb, Mark and Lisa Whitcomb, Maureen Whitcomb, and Michele Whitcomb Vieira. She was a great-auntie to Amy, Rob, Christy, and Andy Whitcomb, Caden and Logan Whitcomb, and Riley Vieira. She also leaves several great-nephews and nieces: Tripp, Davis, Lucy, Carolina, Piper, and Whit. Janiece loved snow skiing, water skiing, boating, and traveling. She owned a red MG, and was in an MG car club and went on many road trips with her sister-in-law Karen. But most of all she loved saving animals of all kinds. She had a big heart!
