Virginia Lee Arthur

Virginia Lee Arthur was born on June 1, 1929 to Reinhold and Nellie Hildebrand at her paternal grandparents' home in Portland, Oregon. She died on November 13, 2015 in her room at Countryside Living in Canby, Oregon. Virginia attended Peninsula Grade School in Portland, Oregon and graduated from Roosevelt High, also in Portland in 1947. She was an avid lover of her Lord Jesus Christ, of her family and of "Kitties and Doggies!". She also loved to sing and play piano, especially with her late husband, Harold "Hal" Arthur, who preceded her in death on July 10, 2010,and her beloved parents. Virginia was known for her feisty independence and her sense of humor. We, her family and friends, miss her already but are so grateful to know she is now with her Lord Jesus, her "Hal," and her beloved parents. A private graveside service is planned.
