Danny Ray Smith

The Worshipful Brother Danny Ray Smith, of Pioneer, CA, was Called to Labor With the Supreme Architect of The Universe on December 13, 2018. He lived 69 years, five months, and twenty-seven days. He was born in Camp Stoneman, CA on June 16, 1949 to the late Virginia L. (Cummings) and Paul R. Smith. Dan was a seven time past master of three California Masonic Lodges, Antioch-Brentwood Lodge No. 175, Amador Lodge No. 65, and Volcano Consolidated Lodge No. 56. He was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on October 8, 1971, and received the Hiram Award on June 6, 2011. Dan is survived by his wife, Michele Curran, of Pioneer, CA; three daughters, Wendi, wife of Brice Greene, of Carbondale, KS, Melinda Broadwater, wife of Bill Hall, of Portland, OR, and Angela, wife of Darrell Flood, of Lafayette, OR; sister, Shirley, wife of Charles Miles, of Mountain Ranch, CA; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at the American Legion Hall in Martell from 2-6 pm on Saturday, December 29, 2018.
