Scott Lee Henselbecker
October 12th, 1950 - August 27th, 2018
Scott Lee Henselbecker, of Plymouth, CA, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 at the age of 67. Scott was born in Sacramento, CA on October 12, 1950, to Barbara J. (Yendes) and the late Henry F. Henselbecker. In 1969, upon graduation from Luther Burbank High School in Sacramento, CA, Scott joined the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. When he returned home, he attended Sacramento City College, and to pay his way through school, he held down two steady jobs; his daytime work consisted of Sacramento County Waste Management while his nightly work was at the Almond Growers (Blue Diamond). After, he owned his own plumbing business American Leak Detection for fifteen years before he shifted gears and became a truck driver for Golden State Floral, and then eventually retired. Scott is survived by his wife, Cathleen (Pottorf) Henselbecker; four daughters, Adrianne, wife of Greg Dean, of Sacramento, CA, Shelby Henselbecker, of Montana, Lyndee Wright, of Mt. Aukum, CA, and Marie, wife of Mark Bridges, of Hawaii; son, Andrew Wright, of Mt. Aukum, CA; sister, Kim, wife of Bill Murray, of Montana; brother, Brett, husband of Kathy Henselbecker, of Montana; seven grandchildren, Jonathan, Natalie, Jackie, Izzy, Kyle, Alex, and Kaidyn; and three great-grandchildren, Cherish, Heaven, and Angel. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life, at 11:00AM, on Sunday September 16 2018, at American Legion Hall 12134 Airport Road Jackson, CA 95642. Contributions may be made in Scott’s name to Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 118, 810 Court Street, Jackson, CA 95642.
