Thomas Martinez, of Sutter Creek, CA, passed away at his home on Monday, May 21, 2018, at the age of 94. A full-blooded Spaniard, he was born in Hayward, CA on September 25, 1923 to the late Fransico and Amalia (Esteban) Martinez. He was the devoted husband of Mary E. (Vaughn) Martinez. Thomas loved watching auto racing of all kinds and was a big Football fan. Most of all he loved traveling in their R.V and also enjoyed the cruises they went on with friends and family. He is preceded by his daughter, Wendy Martinez; and brothers, Marce Martinez, Joe Martinez, Louis Martinez, Frank Martinez, and Alfred Martinez. Friends are invited to attend a visitation, from 11:00 A.M. – 12:30 P.M. at Daneri Mortuary, 415 Broadway, Jackson, CA, followed by a graveside service at 1:00 P.M. at the Keystone Mausoleum at Sunset View Cemetery, 10200 Highway 88, Jackson, CA on Thursday, May 31, 2018.
