Iva "Earlene" LaBelle
October 9th, 1937 - February 9th, 2021
IVA “EARLENE” LABELLE Santa Maria, CA: Iva Earlene LaBelle, 83, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2021. She was born in Texas, October 9, 1937, the daughter of Barnie and Iva Dufur. Iva graduated from Delano High School with the class of 1955. Following graduation, She moved to Bakersfield, CA where she was a PBX operator at GTE for several years. She married her husband, Robert LaBelle in 1959 and moved to Santa Maria where her first job was at Woolworth. They raised their two daughters in Santa Maria. Iva also earned her AA Degree from Allan Hancock College, and worked for Waltek Employment Services, and Santa Maria Chili. In addition to her parents, Iva was predeceased by her husband Robert LaBelle, and her brother, James Dufur. She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly LaBelle, Kelly Smith, and her husband Charles Smith, three grandchildren, Grace LaBelle, Joy LaBelle, and Daniel LaBelle, and her brother Douglas Dufur. A private graveside service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Santa Maria Cemetery.
