Paul Joseph Anderson

Paul Joseph Anderson, of Ione, CA, passed away in a tragic accident on Monday, December 11, 2017 in Burson, CA at the age of 50. He was born in Sacramento, CA on December 14, 1966 to Helena and the late Marvin C. Anderson. Paul lived and grew up in Amador County where he graduated from Argonaut High School in 1985. Paul was an exceptional athlete and played many sports throughout his school days. He spent many years helping out in his father's business, Toma and Anderson, and began working there as a surveyor in and out of high school. Paul always wanted to drive big rig trucks and graduated from Western Pacific Truck School. He then went on to drive truck for a living. Paul loved his family and friends. Everyone who knew him knew his big heart, his strong opinions, and his deep love for his family. Paul is survived by his mother and "Pops", Helena Anderson-Thomas and Lary Thomas, of Jackson, CA; brother, Sean (Stephanie) Anderson, of Ione, CA; nephews, Garrett and Andrew Anderson; aunt, Billeejenne (Gary) Young; and uncle, Joe (Paula)DePaoli. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin C. Anderson. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Daneri Mortuary, 415 Broadway, Jackson, CA. He will be privately interred in Jackson Catholic Cemetery, Jackson, CA. Please join the family at Mel's Diner in the banquet room for a celebration of life after the services.
