Anne Elizabeth Klotz

Anne passed away at the age of 90 in Livermore, Ca. on April 27, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born on August 17, 1926 to Howard and Susan Williams of Fillmore, Ca. One of three daughters, she was raised in Fillmore, Ca. where she grew up with and later married the love of her life, Ben Klotz, on 9/11/1947. Together they made their home in Sutter Creek, Ca. where they raised three daughters, Cheri, Chris and Becky. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Susan and Howard Williams, sisters Margie (Bill) Sisson and Rosemary (Del) Delano, daughter Becky Staple (Pete) and great grandson Dallas Wilkinson. She is survived by her husband of 69 years Ben Klotz, daughters Cheri Harrison (Mike) and Chris Ahlers (Rob), grandchildren, Lori Dixon (Trevor), Steve Ahlers, Jamie Gross (Brian), Phil Staple (Heather), Sommer Sorenson (Dan), Joe Harrison and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews all of whom adored her. Anne was very active in the Sutter Creek Methodist Church. She worked as a teacher's aid with special needs children at Plymouth Elementary School for several years. Anne also volunteered her time as a receptionist at the Amador County Interfaith Food bank for over 8 years. She and Ben loved to travel and made many memories as they traveled through Egypt, the Holy Land, down the Panama Canal, to Hawaii, and across the United States. They also loved to camp in their trailer and spent many fun summers at Silver Lake. She was a wonderful, loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She will be dearly missed by all of us who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Hospice and Home Health. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service Thursday, May 11, 2017, 12:00 P.M. at the Creekside United Methodist Church in Sutter Creek, Ca.
