Carol Ann Connelly

Carol Ann Connelly, age 56, of Jackson, CA, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016 in Jackson. Carol was born in Oxnard, CA on October 22, 1960, a daughter of Frances Ann (Brochu) and the late William Peter Connelly. Carol was well known for her delicious baked treats, beautiful garden, and love for animals. The Eastern Sierras held a special place in her heart, as her former home and location of many family vacations throughout her life. She was a true friend, fun to hang out with, supportive, and generous. She will be very dearly missed by her family and friends. Carol is survived by her mother, Frances Connelly of Camarillo, CA; son, Bill Mitchell, of Jackson, CA; daughter, Jessica Mitchell, of South Lake Tahoe, CA; sister, Mary Droese, of Oakland, CA; brothers, Tom, husband of Manisha Connelly, of Oakland, CA; Ray, husband of Sheila Connelly, of Santa Cruz, CA; nephews, Derek & Kevin Droese; nieces, Breanna & Allison Connelly. She was preceded by her father, William Connelly, and sister, Patricia Connelly. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Calaveras Humane Society at http://calaverashumane.org/help-the-animals/. A service for Carol will be held at Santa Clara Cemetery, 2370 N. H Street, Oxnard, CA, at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 26. A reception located at 3384 Calle Cita, Camarillo, CA will immediately follow the service.
