Son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, teammate, wrestler, Eagle Scout, Ayden Christopher Garcia, age 18, of West Point, CA, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016. Ayden was born in Lodi, CA on August 21, 1997, a son of Taryn Rae (Meyers) and Anthony Christopher Garcia. Ayden had a love and devotion to family (mostly babies and young children), all sports, life and God. He is the reigning waterslide champion at Pipi camp with over 125 successive slides. He was competitive at water polo. He went on to achieve multiple awards and a collegiate scholarship with his wrestling skills even after sustaining multiple fractures in his leg at his first wrestling tournament in 2011. He attended wrestling tournaments in Australia and New Zealand in 2015. In December 2015 he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He will be missed and remembered by family, friends, Boy Scouts and Boy Scout leaders, coaches, team-mates, camp counselors, campers, teachers, classmates and his church and community. Ayden is survived by his sisters, Kaley Garcia, Piper Garcia; brothers, Andrew Garcia, Elias Garcia, Anson Garcia; grandparents, Jerry and Venita Meyers and Michele Garcia; uncles, Robert Garcia, Scott Meyers (Heather); Aunts, Marie Garcia, Missy Harris (Dan), Denise Mote (Steve), Liesel Williams (Dean), Larelle Miller (Dan), Janelle Ponte (Ed), Sheri Mettler, and a lot of cousins. He was preceded by his grandfather, Joseph Garcia and his Uncle Robbie Wilson.
