Milo Sam Popovich passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at his home in Sutter Creek, CA at the age of 74. Milo was born on April 19, 1941 in Sutter Creek, CA to his parents, Sam and Mildred Popovich. Milo was an elementary school teacher for 40 years, and retired in 2004. He is survived by his sisters, Diana Popovich and Marie Pietras; brothers, D. Sam Popovich, Daniel Popovich, and John (Frances) Popovich; nephews and nieces, Thomas (Rhonda) Manning, Carolyn Manning, Danny (Sally) Michael, Steven Popovich (Shanti McMillan), Debra England, Susan (Neil) Popovich, Stacy (Barney) Howard, Stephani Popovich, Jennifer Popovich and Savo (Ana) Popovich; 13 great nieces and nephews; Partner, Paul Krumenacker and many friends. He was preceded in death by: parents, Sam and Mildred Popovich, sister, Helen (Thomas) Manning, sister-in-laws, Beverly Popovich and Janice Popovich and brother, George Popovich. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at Daneri Mortuary Chapel, 415 Broadway, Jackson, CA 95642.
