Richard A. Ferrero

Richard A. Ferrero passed away on March 11, 2014 at the age of 82 in Jackson, CA. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Jeanette Ferrero of Jackson, sister JoAnn Patterson of Lincoln, sister-in-law Patricia McCandless of Galt and many nieces and nephews. Richard "Dick"was born and raised in Merced and spent most of his life in Santa Cruz before retiring to Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Ines Ferrero of Merced. He was a Korean Veteran, an active member of the Italian Benevolent Society in Sutter Creek and very proud of his Italian heritage. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, landscaping and mastered the art of the Bonsai. He was a generous man who was very kind and will be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers we request that a donation be made to the Alzheimer's Association in his name.
