Budd Rainier Nichols

Budd Nichols was born on October 20th, 1921, in Pine Grove, CA. Budd passed away peacefully at home on January 14, 2014. Budd was a proud member of the United States Army, and served as a corporal in the Military Police. After being honorably discharged from the service, he began his career of 42 years with PG&E, retiring in April, 1984. He was also a member of the True Sportsman Club for many years, where he won many awards for his skill in trapshooting. He had a lifelong appreciation of the outdoors, and spent much of his time hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed building and flying radio-controlled model airplanes. Budd will be remembered with great affection by his two daughters and their families; the eldest daughter, Christine Haynes and husband, George; and his youngest daughter, Kathy Hobbick, and husband Mike. He will also forever be in the hearts and memories of his grandsons and their families; Tim Nichols, and his son, Anthony; Brian Hobbick, his wife, Tammy, and their children, Hunter, Hailey, and Hayden; Todd Hobbick, his wife, Nicki, and their son, Wyatt. Budd will join his lovely wife of 66 years, Mary Teresa Nichols, who passed away on Sunday, August 25th, 2013. Their 67th anniversary would have been on Valentine's Day. Budd and Mary are eternally inured in the Garden of Valor, at Sunset View Cemetery.
