Lisa Anne Marie Tavano-Hall was 49 years old and lived in Fair Play, CA. She died May 5, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Folsom from complications of melanoma. She was born in Niagara Falls, New York on August 2, 1963 to Samuel Tavano and Sheila Duane-Tavano. Her sisters are Sheila Kelley, Gina Buchanan and brothers, Joseph and James Tavano. Lisa married Craig W Hall on June 20, 1992 at St. James Church in Davis, CA. She received two Bachelor's degrees from San Diego State University and a Master's degree and PhD in Psychology from UC Davis. Lisa taught psychology at CSUS and previously at UC Davis. Lisa loved her family, her husband and especially her children. She was very fond of all forms of music. But she was most proud of her devotion to and fostering of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her husband, Craig; sons, Nicolas Craig, Christopher William Hall; mother, Sheila; sisters, Sheila Kelley, Gina Buchanan; brothers, Joseph and James Tavano. A mass of Christian burial was held Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Amador Catholic Center in Martell, CA. Interment is at Jackson Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to www.foodforthepoor.org.
