Pat Glazer, beloved wife of Irving Glazer, passed away Monday, August 15th, at the age of 89. She was the daughter of (late) Harry and Emma Oshrin and sister of (late) Albert Oshrin and Elaine Reiner. Pat and Irving were married 68 years and their family includes their three children: Susan Rubenstein (Jeffrey Rubenstein), Jay Glazer (Marsha Glazer), and Cynthia Glazer. Grandchildren: Andrew Rubenstein (Linsey Rubenstein), Gordon Rubenstein (Krista Ramonas), Emily Rubenstein (Angel Rivera), Lindsay Glazer Woloshin (Jacob Woloshin), Abigail Glazer (George Alexiades), Eleanor Glazer, and Emma Thier. Great-Grandchildren: Ryder, Ella, and Sophia Rubenstein. Pat was born 1921 in New York City, where she grew up. She attended University of California at Berkeley and then Ohio State University, where she met Irving. After marrying, they moved to Anderson, Indiana to join the Glazer Brothers scrap metal business and begin their family. Pat raised her three children while actively volunteering at St. John's Hospital and in the community. Pat and Irving spent nearly forty retirement years in Indianapolis while traveling the world. Along with enjoying good times with her many friends, Pat continued her volunteer efforts for the Hooverwood Retirement Guild. Pat was extremely charitable as a founding donor of the Indiana University Jewish Studies Program while also contributing to the Jewish Federation of Indianapolis as a Lion of Judah.
