Jillian Grace Petersen

Jillian Grace Petersen was received into the arms of Jesus on May 26, 2011. She arrived into this world on April 19, 2011 at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento. Her time here may have been brief but her blessings were great. They say the greatest gifts come in small packages. Born at just 25 weeks gestation at 1 pound 7 ounces, she was indeed our greatest gift. In the five weeks we were given with her against every odd, she knew only the love of devoted family and friends. She never experienced the sin or suffering of this world and for that we are forever grateful. While we grieve that she is not with us in this world, we rejoice that she is with our Maker. She is in a better place, at peace and watching over us as our angel in this life. She will be loved and remembered everyday for the strength and determination she showed us. Jillian is survived by her parents, Mark and Jennifer (Benson) Petersen, sister, Alexis Petersen; brothers, Cole and Nathan Petersen all of Valley Springs; grandparents, Chris and Ada Petersen of San Bernadino, CA; Robert and Nora Benson of Louisville, KY, Marie and Rick St. Pierre of Brentwood, CA; great grandmothers, Lucille Christensen, Bonnie Kramer; aunts, Christine Benson, Shelby Kromer, Juliann Benson; uncles, Cortlin St. Pierre and Chris Petersen, Jr. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life on Saturday, June 4, 2011, 11:00 A.M. at Calvary Chapel in Valley Springs.
