Judy Ann Marks

Judy Ann Marks passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023, in Lodi, CA at the age of 83 years old. She was born October 22, 1939, in Sacramento, CA to her parents, Major and Alma. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Irvin “Bo” Marks of Jackson, CA; children, Dennis and Susie Sinkey; Daughter in Law Celia; Grandchildren, Salvador, Angela, Tisha, and Beverly; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Becky, and Kathy; She is preceded in death by her son, Timothy Sinkey and his Daughter Stephanie and sisters, Cecilia and Barbara, brothers, Major Jr., and Wesley. Judy attended and graduated high school in Sacramento then went to work for the state of California for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with family, living a beautiful love story with her beloved husband and dogs, creating handmade crafts with passion, and putting lipstick on every morning. Judy was a resident of Sacramento years before settling down and creating a beautiful home in Amador County at the Jackson Rancheria with her husband and in-laws for over 30 years. To know Judy was to know courtesy and she carried herself gracefully throughout her fulfilling life. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Daneri Mortuary Chapel in Jackson, CA. at 11:00a.m. Contributions can be sent in Judy’s name to the American Cancer Society at 1710 Webster St. Oakland, CA 94612.
