Herminia "Minnie" Gonzalez
March 7th, 1926 - April 19th, 2014
Herminia "Minnie" (De La Garza) Gonzalez, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2014. At her bedside was her loving daughter, Irma Doris (Gonzalez) Klein. Minnie is also survived by her cherished grandsons, Eric Glenn and Joe Sterling Klein, son-in-law, Peter F. Klein, her brothers and sisters, many adoring nieces, nephews and other family members and friends from California and Texas. Minnie is preceded in death by her beloved son, Chuck and her husband of 51 years, Jose "Pepe" Gonzalez. A Memorial Mass for Minnie and Pepe will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 6pm at St. Mary's Church in Freer, Texas.

At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
