Adrian "Kilu" Garcia
September 14th, 1986
Adrian "Kilu" Garcia, 27, was one of the most beautiful people, inside and out. He was always the life of the party, and he loved to make people smile. Adrian was born in Salinas, the third of four siblings. He was a server at 'La Casa del Sazon," but his true passions were art and music and riding his bicycle. He enjoyed going to local Metal shows and spending time with his family and friends. He graduated from North Salinas High School in 2004 and attended the Academy of Arts University of San Francisco. He was truly genuine and free spirited, and he will be greatly missed. Adrian is preceded in death by his Tia Linda Rodriguez, Tio Manuel Hernandez, Tio Guillermo Rodriguez and Tia Gloria R. Murillo. Adrian is survived by his mother Maria G. Rodriguez, his brother Javier Garcia, his sisters Brianna Kurtow (George), Marcella G. Flores (Mario), his nephews Aaron and Matthew, his girlfriend Eliana Coronel, his maternal grandmother, many aunts and uncles, cousins and countless friends. Visitation will be held from 1 to 9p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014, with a Rosary recital at 7p.m., all at Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Road, Salinas, CA 93905. A Funeral Mass will take place at 1:30p.m. Friday, July 11, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 22 Stone Street, Salinas, CA 93905. Burial to follow services at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 18200 Damian Way, Salinas, CA 93907.

We Entrusted Adrian Garcia's Care To
Healey Mortuary
At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
