November 5th, 1939 - March 11th, 2010
Jimmy had served in the U.S. Marines for 3 years. He since was employed with Dobler & Sons, LLC as a field laborer for over 22 years. He will be loved and missed and remain forever in our hearts. He is survived by daughter Terri Lynn Marcum of Cameron Park, Nevada sons Jim Alan Garcia of Prunedale Franco X. Garcia of Prunedale sisters Jessica Caballero of Salinas Lilly Caballeros of Monterey grandchildren Shawna Sandoval and Kristin Marcum 4 great-grandchildren preceded in death by wife Dolores Lopez Garcia in 2002 At Jimmy's request, no services will be held. at Gonzales District Cemetery Click for Map and Directions

At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
