August 21st, 1942 - June 26th, 2016
Rosario Fuentes Orozco, 73, resident of Salinas, passed away on June 26, 2016 in Monterey. She was born on August 21, 1942 in Guadalajara, Mexico. Rosario was a longtime parishioner and avid volunteer at Sacred Heart Church in Salinas. Rosario, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother is survived by her husband, Ezequiel Orozco, daughters, Leticia Orozco, Susana Orozco, Carmen Martinez, Laura Floersch and Elena Urueta, sons, Moises and Alejandro Orozco, mother, Maria de Jesus Garcia Fuentes, sisters, Graciela and Sara, brothers, Rafael, Juan Jose and Leopoldo, 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren also survive. She is preceded in death by her father, Jose de Jesus Fuentes. A Rosary and Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 1:30pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 22 Stone St. Salinas, CA 93901. Inurnment will take place at a later date at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Salinas, CA.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
