Eric Shawn Estigoy, beloved son, brother, father, and friend, passed away on April 20, 2024, in Salinas, California, at the age of 29. He was born on March 7, 1995, in Salinas, CA, to Shawn Estigoy and Lisa Trevino Fresquez. Eric was a dedicated Sales Clerk at Quick Stop and found joy in supporting his favorite team, the Steelers. His passion for football was evident to all who knew him. In his free time, he enjoyed gaming, playing basketball, and playing games with his son when he was with him. 

Eric will be remembered for his caring heart, beautiful smile, and the special bond he shared with his son, as well as his brothers, sisters,. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that truly touched the lives of those around him. 

He is survived by his father, Shawn Estigoy, mother, Lisa Trevino Fresquez, stepfather Abel Fresquez, his son Owen Estigoy ,siblings Andrea Estigoy, Justin Estigoy, Adam Fresquez, Heaven Leigh Fresquez and stepbrother Abel Fresquez III. His maternal grandparents Robert & Irene Trevino, & his paternal grandmother Irene Estigoy Austin. Eric was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Santos Estigoy and Ray Austin. 

A service in memory of Eric will be cared for by Healey Mortuary & Crematory, 405 Sanborn Rd, Salinas, CA 93905. A rosary will take place at Healey Mortuary beginning at 3 p.m. on May 8th with a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Refuge Church at 1 pm. on May 9th. A celebration of Eric's life will follow at Spreckels Hall. Eric's impact on the lives of those around him will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace.
