Eric Ollason

Eric was born in Tucson, Arizona, to Lawrence “Moe” Ollason, and Marcha Rae (Loe) on November 17, 1964. He passed away peacefully in his home on April 19, 2024, He was 59 years old.    

He is survived by his wife, Debbi (Pollock), brothers Larry of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Tommy of Pennsylvania, His Nephews Steve (Janel K.), Jack (Jennie), and , Neice Taylor, great nephews, and nieces, his aunt Linda Loe (John L.), his stepson, Drew B., his best friends, Eric H., Eric P. (Known as “The Three Erics” and Robert P. (from Elementary school), and his dog Conner, and so many other good friends.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law Rebecca Shoden, and step-nephew Troy P.    

He attended Sam Hughes Elementary School, Mansfeld Middle School, and Graduated from Salpointe Catholic High School in 1982.  He held many jobs. In high school, he worked (with Eric H.) as a busboy at the Tequila Mockingbird Restaurant. He worked as a skycap at the Tucson International Airport. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts degree.  He also attended college in Colorado.    

He worked as Attorney, and was board-certified in Bankruptcy, in Pima County for about 30 years. He held his own law practice and had a successful career. He graduated from Cooley Law School, in Lansing, Michigan, where he met his wife.     

He married his wife Debbi A. (Pollock) at the Mountain Oysters Club (The M.O. Club), in downtown Tucson, in June 2000.   

He was an avid tennis player, and he enjoyed history, skiing, playing in his band, playing the guitar, listening to music, and lots of travel. He loved spending time with his wife, brothers, family, and friends. He spent time in Mexico (San Miguel de Allende) where he studied Spanish. He spent many vacations in Coronado, San Diego, and Imperial Beach, California. He had a sense of humor.    

He was loved, and will be missed by many friends, family, and coworkers.  He lost his dog Rosco, the family asked that any charitable contributions be made to Animal shelters of your choice.   Two words that summed up his life are caring, and generous.  

The family would like to thank everyone who attended the gathering last Tuesday, at Kappys.
