Dora Valdez
March 15th, 1928 - December 30th, 2018
Dora Valdez, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 30th, 2018. She touched many lives and will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Dora was born in El Salvador and came to the United States with her young son in 1961 where she became a citizen. She lived the majority of her life in South San Francisco and Antioch, and was a candy maker at Sees Candies for 35 years until she retired. Dora was happiest enjoying the company of her family and friends. She will be missed and loved dearly by her devoted son Jesus Jr., daughter-in-law Anita and granddaughter Dakota of Pleasant Hill. She is also survived by family both here in the United States and in El Salvador. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at Christ the King Church in Pleasant Hill.
