Dawn Marie Miller
January 21st, 1950 - June 15th, 2023
Dawn passed from this world at her care facility in Pleasant Hill, after several years of declining health. She was born in San Francisco, January 21, 1950. She was the second child born to her parents Burkley and Dorothy Reynolds. Her early years were spent in South City where she attended Buri Buri elementary. When Dawn was 10, her family moved to Walnut Creek. She enjoyed an active childhood playing at Larkey Park and swimming at the pool. She also participated in Dances of the Pacific. Dawn graduated from Pleasant Hill High School in 1968. Her young married life was spent largely on the East Coast living in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Florida, where she worked in travel planning and retail. Her last position was with Publix grocery store in Jupiter. She made friends easily wherever she lived and worked due to her kind and caring nature. Dawn is survived by her three children; Deidre (Kyle) Boudreaux, Barry (Rosie) Miller, and Raymond Miller. Her Grandchildren; Cassie, Delaney, Mason, Hailie and Talia. Dawn's first great grandchild is due in November. Also her five siblings; Carol (Ken) Huddleston, Jan (Jerry) Cooper, Jeff (Jeanette) Reynolds, Gary (Sally) Reynolds, and Wendy Reynolds. A special Thank You goes out to staff at Dawn's care facility, The Oasis. Especially Delia for her compassionate care! A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. A Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date
