April 9th, 1957 - July 29th, 2011
Lorenzo "John" Manti 1957-2011 Lorenzo passed away peacefully on July 29, 2011 with his loving family at his side. He was the son of the late Leonardo and Augusta Manti. He is survived by his sisters Domenica O'Leary (Kevin), Sylvia Coustier (Tom), Joanne Gopez (Cesar), Lisa Gallegos (Albert), uncle Tony Manti (Georgia), many uncles and aunts in Europe, nieces, nephews and loving friend Marie Oliver. Lorenzo also enjoyed time with his loving pet Beyonce. A native of Oakland, he was a dedicated 28-year employee of AC Transit where he loved his job and made many wonderful friends that he considered family. A special thank you, to the Kaiser Antioch/Walnut Creek and City of Hope doctors and nurses for their gentle care, comfort and compassion. A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 3rd at Oak Park Hills Chapel, 3111 N. Main St., Walnut Creek between 1:00pm and 6:30pm with a vigil service held at 7:00pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 4th at 10:00am at Oak Park Hills followed by interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Concord.
