Joseph Thomas Pinto Resident of Alamo Former resident of San Lorenzo & Rossmoor Joseph Pinto passed away Sunday, December 12, 2010 at age 94. Joseph was born 9/5/1916 in Tacoma, Washington. As a young adult he moved to San Francisco. During WW II he supported the country by working at Hunters Point Shipyard. He retired from the Post Office at age 60 after over 30 years of service. He spent 32 years in retirement at Rossmoor in Walnut Creek, enjoying his favorite pastime - golfing. He is survived by his son, Vic, & daughter, Kathy, whom he lived with the last 2 years of his life. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1965 Reliez Valley Rd., Lafayette, CA.
