Donna Favro-Stickle

Donna, a longtime resident of Moraga, California passed away on July 6th, 2021. She was born on October 12, 1962, in Alameda, California to Peter and Stella Favro. She lived in Oakland with her father, mother, sister, Mary, and brother, Peter Jr, until the family moved to Moraga in 1975. Donna attended California State University Hayward and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Programming. She worked for 11 years as a Computer Programmer Analyst for a variety of companies including Luckys Stores, Lockheed Aerospace and Defense, and Kaiser Permanente. She then dedicated the next 25 years of her life as a Stay-at-Home Mom. She and her husband, Keith, were married for 39 years and raised three children, Robert, Matthew, and Serena. She will be remembered for her passions of cooking, reading, traveling, skiing, collecting colorful rocks, taking lots and lots of pictures, and watching the Raiders with her husband to name a few. She was also known for her shared love in the interests of her children, a few of which include, Star Wars, Disneyland, Harry Potter, and more. Donna is survived by her mother, Stella; her sister Mary; her husband Keith; her children Robert, Mathew, and Serena; as well as many wonderful relatives, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend. She was a rock on which anyone could rely and will be missed dearly. Friends and family are invited to the viewing/visitation 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday, July 13th at OAK PARK HILLS CHAPEL, 3111 N. Main St., Walnut Creek, CA and to the funeral 11 AM, Wednesday, July 14th at St. Monica's Catholic Church, 1001 Camino Pablo, Moraga, CA with a brief small outdoor reception to follow in the church courtyard.
