Oak Park Hills Chapel
Kaitlin Victoria Holmgren
September 10th, 1999 - April 14th, 2021
Kaitlin Victoria Holmgren passed last Wednesday in Martinez, California. Though her time here with us on earth was so short, she somehow found a way to touch countless hearts and souls. Our little Kaity was also born in California, at 3:33 pm becoming our Angel Baby the moment she took her first breath. In 2018 she graduated from Summit County High School in Breckenridge, Colorado, and by this point her journey through life had given her many homes in multiple states like North Carolina, Colorado, Florida and even Texas. This most certainly contributed to the free spirited, fun loving Kaitlin we all came to know and love. Kaitlin was gifted and brilliant and had this ability to quickly excel at every task she put her mind to. During her childhood she primarily put this gift to action in the form of physical activities like skiing or gymnastics. Later, during her adolescence and into adulthood, we saw this gift really shine in the way that she so full heartedly cared for people, this world, and even the spiritual world or beyond. Even as such a young person, we know that Kaitlin was admired by so many. She was open minded, non judgmental, and had an unconditional care for others. She was the type of soul that was willing to take pain for even a stranger and proved that up until her very last moment here with us. Kaitlin did not have children of her own, but she is survived by her two nephews Decklyn and Daylyn Gray and one niece Mia Pea May. She is also survived by her three sisters Samantha Holmgren, Kaya Gray, and Candra Pea May as well her parents Sarah Fink and Timothy Holmgren. Her memory and spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of every person that walked alongside her, even if it was only for just a brief moment, she loved you dearly. We will be having her private viewing at OAK PARK HILLS CHAPEL, 3111 N. MAIN ST., Walnut Creek, Thursday, April 22nd from 3pm until 6pm. Anyone that would like to send flowers please feel free to use the links for local florists provided. You may also send cards to this location. Post the viewing, there will be a reception held at 3998 Moller Ranch Way in Antioch, California. A public memorial / cryptside service will be Thursday, April 29th, 2:30 to 3:30 pm at Los Gatos Memorial Park, 2255 Los Gatos Almaden Rd., San Jose, CA 95124 Private Viewing Thursday, April 22, 2021 03:00 pm-06:00 pm OAK PARK HILLS CHAPEL 3111 N. Oak Park Hills Chapel has proudly served families throughout Contra Costa County, California, for over 60 years. Our business' history begins when Roger Magleby, who was a pioneer in air-sea scatterings and a pilot, established our business in what was once a military medical staging and processing building for Camp Stoneman in Pittsburg, California. Ever since, we've had a special relationship with our military families and we are proud to be certified as Veterans Funeral Specialists....
