Mary P. Sorrentino May 2, 1920 - Dec. 24, 2011 Resident of Concord Mary died peacefully at home with family present. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph Sorrentino and two sons, Grant Anders and Rea Anders. She leaves behind a loving son, Carl Anders and her daughter-in-law, Irene Anders; her niece, Teresa (Bill), Costanza and daughter, Cindy; eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren who brought much happiness into her life. She was their ""Grandma Great"". Mary was raised in Montclair and graduated from Oakland Technical High School. Through her life, her home was filled with family, ceramic students, music (organ) club members, bowling and golfing friends, wonderful neighbors and many dogs. Mary brought such joy to all that knew her. She always offered a helping hand. Many thanks to her caregiver and friend GiGi and her son Carl for his comfort and care. Services will be held 1:00 pm, Monday, January 9, 2012 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 1601 Mary Dr., Pleasant Hill, CA.
