Gus was preceded in death by his parents Frank & Violet Rutherford and his oldest brother Franklin Rutherford (Ratana). He is survived by his son, Jesse, and daughter, Hailey, his beloved lifelong girlfriend Sinda Ennis, her 2 sons, Stephen & Daniel, brothers Gary(Jeanette deceased), Con(Kathee), Guy(Paula), sister Jan(Forney), and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends and neighbors.

He served with the Navy during the Vietnam War.

Gus used his God given talents as a gifted artist, musician, singer and songwriter. He and his twin brother Guy recorded countless original songs together. He found much joy in his painting, his music, designing jewelry, and serving others. Throughout the years Gus volunteered at many food banks and soup kitchens. He also absolutely loved spending time fishing with anyone that would go with him. In the Summer you could find him nurturing the roses and the other plants in the trailer park. He was always available to help his neighbors with anything they needed and enjoyed visiting with them all. Gus’ legacy will live on in the memories and hearts of all his friends and loved ones.
