David Frank Battaglia, 60, of Ocala, Florida passed away November 25, 2021, at his home in Ocala, Florida. He was born on April 26, 1961, in Trenton, New Jersey to father, Frank Battaglia and mother, Ann Valeri. David grew up in Hamilton, New Jersey. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was the highest rank Avionic Technician. He worked as an automotive technician for many years and most recently worked for the U.S. Post Office. He was a devoted Christian and was loved by all who knew him. David is survived by his parents, Frank Battaglia and Ann Valeri. His sisters, Linda Scozzaro and Terry Battaglia. His children, Christine Battaglia and Christopher Battaglia, grandchildren; Madalyn Battaglia, Raymond Ertel and Christian Battaglia as well as his nieces and nephews. A private service for family will be held at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL on December 14, 2021. Services entrusted to Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420. Condolences may be left at Hiers-Baxley.com.
