Carol Elaine Tetreault

Carol Elaine (Mellor) Tetreault of Acushnet, MA passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the age of 81. She was the loving wife of Paul Tetreault. Born in New Bedford, MA. She was the daughter of the late Mildred (Goldthorpe) Mellor and Clifford Mellor and the sister of the late Ralph Mellor. Carol was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who always made you feel special. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. She was a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church in Acushnet. Carol was a fantastic cook and she loved to gather family and friends to entertain. She loved to play cards and board games. She was an amazing bocce ball player in her Florida winter home community. Carol was a true blue, Red Sox and Patriots fan and loved to travel. Carol was the loving mother of the late Karen E. Tetreault and is survived by her beloved husband Paul, daughter Cynthia Days and her husband Allen, of Fairhaven and son Daniel Tetreault and his wife Emily of OH, seven grandchildren Julia and her husband Kristopher, Jacob and his wife Elyssa, Jordan, Joshua, Justin, Elizabeth and Juliette. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with family and friends at St. Francis Xavier in Acushnet, in the spring. She will be laid to rest beside her daughter Karen at Acushnet Cemetery following the mass. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in memory of Carol, to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
