Stephen Huey

Obituary Stephen (Steve) Huey, 66, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2023, at Pathways Hospice in Fort Collins, Colorado. Steve was born to Lloyd and Lois Huey on October 24, 1956 and was raised in Paducah, KY. He is survived by his wife, Lucinda Sinclair, daughter, Alexandra Huey, sister, Kelly (David) Dixon, nephew, Adam Shuemaker, aunts, Betty Griggs, Betty Tucker, Harolyn Tucker and several cousins. Other special family members include Leslie, John, Hugh and Reese Gentry. Steve often sought adventure and led an active life playing high school football, rugby in college, boating and skiing on Kentucky Lake, treasure hunting, golfing, horseback riding, and loving his family. His career in health care finance spanned over 40 years and led him from Mayfield, Kentucky across the country from Florida to Alaska and included an assignment to Saudi Arabia. Steve graduated from Reidland High School in 1974. At the University of Kentucky, he earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and his law degree from Nashville School of Law. He received his CPA license in Texas and passed the bar exam. A celebration of life will be held in Paducah, KY in May. Memorial gifts can be made to Christian Relief Fund at crf.com. Services
