January 27th, 1947 - January 30th, 2023
Obituary Darlene Cagle (nee Gross) passed away January 30th. She died peacefully at home with her family by her side after losing her battle to Ewing Sarcoma cancer. She spent the last few months enjoying her remaining time with her family. Born January 27, 1947 in Harlan, Kentucky she moved to Chicago in in her youth. She Darlene and Billy Cagle were married for 46 years until his death in 2010. Darlene is survived by her three children, Ruth Anne (Gary) Charlton, Karyn (Patrick) Keene and Billy (Christina) Cagle. Granny to James Michael (Danielle), Zachary, Jacob, Sophia, Samantha, Drew and Ella. Great granny to Judah, Mick and CoraJean. She was the loving and dedicated sister to 8 brothers and sisters and a special sister in law. A loved aunt and great aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. She was a friend to many throughout the years she lived in Romeoville and Sugar Grove,IL and Deadwood, SD. Darlene was most recently living with family in Colorado and enjoyed working in her garden. She loved the mountain views and night sky viewing of the stars, moon and planets.. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her. Services
