Sandra 'Sandy' Faris Loyd Our beloved beautiful, Sister Sandra was born April 21, 1949 in Albuquerque, NM she closed her eyes here on Earth and opened them up in Heaven on August 7, 2014. She was welcomed home by our father and mother, Frank and Sophie (Koury) Faris; her husband, Vito Ceroni; brothers, Richard Faris, David Faris, Jim Bernardoni; and her niece, Elizabeth Faris Who had all preceded her to Eternal Glory. Sandra was a loving, daughter, mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt, great aunt. She is survived by her son Aldous Loyd his wife Melanie, two grandchildren Carli and Dillon. Her brother Frank Faris, Brother Michael his wife Rhonda Faris, Sister Camille Stueber her husband John, Sister Shelia Bernardoni, Sister Shaylyn Graves her husband Rico. Sandra had eight Nieces and eleven Nephews, four great nieces and one great nephew. Faris family: five Uncles and five Aunts. Koury family: one Uncle and nine Aunts. By the blessing of an enormous Family, she had literally hundreds of Cousins. Sandra's life was enriched by kindred spirits, John Loyd, Diego Lopez, Carol Hoppe, Pattie Faris, and many more endearing Friends to numerous to mention. Sandra was a Biblical scholar; quoting her, I am one with God, I know Jesus! She was a gifted Artist, Poet, and Author. Her work ethics were incredible, diversified and acclaimed by all her employers. Her first job was at the age of eleven; she worked at the original Sadie's of New Mexico when it was a nine stool café. Duty, respect and Family love Sandra gratefully accepted her 'do it all' position for her dear Aunt Sadie. Sandra's Sister Camille and her Aunt Betty Jo (Koury) Stafford both (present owner of Sadie's) held the same position. Sandra expressed many times that her education by the Dominican Sisters accounted for her formidable employment in administration; which she held for over twenty years. Positions: Executive Assistant to the Postmaster; US Postal Service, Corp of Engineers, Assistant to the Director of the new Albuquerque International Airport. She retired her administrative position to spend time with her son; she became a Native American Art Dealer. Of all her accolades and titles she loved the title 'Mom' second favorite was 'coach'; she coached her eight year old son's soccer team. Sandra's love for God, Aldous, Country, Family, Friends was unconditional. A service of love and remembrance will be held at 11:30 AM Tuesday 19, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho 3905 19th Ave SE (Corner of Hwy 528 and 19th Ave) Our Cousin Pastor Si Budagher lovingly officiating Arrangements entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, 225 San Mateo Blvd. (505) 764-9663.
