Stella "Candy\" Candelaria \ Gonzales
August 24th, 1941 - January 8th, 2015
Stella Candelaria Candy Gonzales, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 8, 2015. She was born on August 24, 1941 in Albuquerque to Stella Castillo and Fred Schubert. She was preceded by her mother Stella, father Fred and Son Eloy Gonzales Jr.; Sister Deluvina Lucero and Brother Lloyd Castillo. She lived a full life in Corrales with her husband of 50 years, Eloy Gonzales. Her love of music was enjoyed by family and friends, and they did record some music early in their life together. Her other love was cooking and entertaining with their Spanish music and wonderful food. She leaves behind her husband of 50 years, Eloy; her son, Daniel; sister, Ernestina Lueras; brother, Ralph Schubert; sister, Teresa Schubert; two grandchildren, Felicia and Adrian; many nieces; nephews; as well as many dear friends and family. Cremation has taken place and Services will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 9:00 AM at San Ysidro Church in Corrales, and a Reception will follow at the parish hall.
