ANGELA GONZALES LAWRENCE Born 6-28-1915, Passed 11-1-11 . She attended and graduated from Socorro High School, Western School for Private Secretaries (Albuquerque) and N. M. State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Science and Home Economics. Angela taught Home Economics at Los Lunas High School and eventually retired from the U. S. Department of Agriculture as a Home Economist with the Valencia County Extension Service. She was a member of San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas, N. M. and member of the National Association of Retired Fed. Employees (N.A.R.F., Chapt. 80). She volunteered for the Red Cross at Kirtland Air Force Base Pharmacy, Highland Sr. Center in Albuquerque, The Los Lunas Public Library and the Los Lunas Chamber of Commerce. Angela was preceded in death by her Husband, Charles D. Lawrence, her first child, Charles D. Lawrence, II (Chucky). Also, her parents, Antonio and Fina Gonzales of Lemitar, N. M., Brothers Reynaldo, Tony and Milton Gonzales and sisterMela Perkins. She is survived by her son, Robert M. Lawrence, one granddaughter, SavellaWalston, one great grandson, Patrick Taylor Walston, her youngest sister ZellaAlderete, sister-in-law Ann C. Gonzales and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special thanks to close family friend, Father Andy Pavlak who will officiate the Funeral Services as a visiting priest from San Miguel Parish in Socorro, N. M. Thanks to Ms. Susan Ortega for helping organize the reception. To Sally Chavez, who was mom's best friend over many years.To mom's niece, Lorella Chavez who helped care for her in her final months. And finally, to everyone who loved and cared for mom in her lifetime.
