Eleanor Marjorie Holbrook

Elenoar Holbrook, 90, of Molalla , died Wednesday, June 15, 2011. She was born September 19, 1920 in Rural Dell area of Molalla to Ed and Lydia Mitts. She attended Rural Dell Elementary School and Molalla High School. In 1945, she married George Holbrook. She worked in sales at J-Bar-K Western Wear in Molalla. She was a member of the Smyrna United Church of Christ, Order of Eastern Star, Rural Dell Extension, Smyrna Stitch Club and the Molalla Senior Center. She is Survived by her sons, Paul and Jerry. A funeral service was held on June 20 at Zion Memorial Cemetery in Canby, with Rev. David Akers officiating. A memorial service will be held on July 9 at 1:30 pm at Smyrna United Church of Christ. Memorial contributions may be made to Willamette Falls Hospice. Molalla Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
